After five days of training in Blois in motivation and good humor, I was welcomed at my new address, the Volunteers House of Saint Jean de la Ruelle, with two volunteers who are very nice like all the others. The first dinner was very good, thanks to Hassane from Benin who had prepared it with our German roommate.
Our trip was not only with our suitcases, but also with international solidarity projects, I will try with my host structure to mount a project between the Abraysien collective and my association in Morocco ALCI.
On Thursday morning, I had a first meeting with members of the collective at ASCA (Abraysian socio-cultural association) which my host structure. At the end of the meeting, it was like if I was with a new family, because all these people have been working together for several years.
In the afternoon I discovered one of the sites of ASCA, the Aladenise house which is surrounded by a garden and welcomes children who are like flowers : with different colors and origins.
It was the school holidays. We had a great time with a program full of very interesting and educative activities for children, I have been accompanied by the facilitators Yannick and Candice, with whom I have the honor to work.
My mission does not stop in animation, I participate also in the organization of the festival of solidarities -Festisol- for logistics and communication with all the associations from Orléans.
And like all young foreigners in France, we organized a trip to the town of lights, where we had a good Saturday viviting the historical monuments of Paris, walking through the capital from Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower.
