Ma mission de service civique internationale m’a permis de découvrir le Maroc et ces traditions merveilleuses. En effet, je suis dans la Résidence COS ONE Fès, petit studio avec cuisine, salle de bain, 2 lits et une terrasse et à l’extérieur, terrain de sport, piscine (la wifi à la réception et sur le rebord de la piscine).
On a également une petite épicerie juste derrière la résidence et une supérette à 600 m du logement. Le personnel de la résidence est très gentil, c’est conviviale. La résidence est bien sécurisée avec un gardien en journée et un autre la nuit et avec des caméras à l’entrée de la résidence.
Paul, le second volontaire en service civique, est à un étage au-dessus de moi à la résidence.
J’ai déjà pu visiter plusieurs lieux et sites touristiques à savoir : la plage de Rabat, la Médina de Rabat, le jardin Jnan Sbil de Fès, le Palais Royal de Fès, le Musée Batha de l’artisanat à Fès.
J’apprécie beaucoup la cuisine marocaine même si j’ai encore des préférences parmi les plats goûtés comme le sandwich spécial marocain : Tacos, le vrai couscous marocain, les nems marocains, les Tajines, la pâtisserie typique marocaine (Chebakia, Makroud, Gâteau Sellou fourré à la pâte de dattes etc.…) et le vrai Thé à la menthe.
Ma préférence va donc pour les Tajines, les Couscous, les salades et les Tacos et en pâtisserie les Makroud pour le moment.
En ce qui concerne les loisirs, pour l’instant nous n’avons pas encore trouvé de salle de sport. Nous organisons certains soirs de la semaine avec Paul des soirées comme soirée crêpes, soirée discussions, soirée écoute de musique.
J’ai partagé des recettes françaises avec l’équipe de l’association et quelques employés de la résidence. Je leur ai amené des crêpes maison.
Aujourd’hui, j’ai téléchargé une application pour apprendre le marocain (apprendre le Darija) et j’ai pris un forfait orange avec 10 H, SMS, MMS illimités avec un nouveau numéro pour seulement 200 Dirham, ce qui n’ai pas cher du tout.
Revenons sur ma mission proprement dite. La mission est variée en ce sens que je suis actuellement sur les dossiers administratifs et financiers avec une collègue. Les premiers jours ont été consacrés à la correction des documents qui sont en français d’ALCI, les autres, je ne pouvais pas les faire car ils étaient en arabe.
On a effectué un déplacement sur Fès à l’HOTEL RAMADA pour prendre des photos de la formation organisée par ALCI pour des marocains en arabe toute la journée.
J’ai aussi participé à la correction, vérification et modification des courriers faits par le président de l’association avant de les envoyer.
Les activités menées avec l’équipe sont axées sur les dossiers financiers : rapprochement bancaire de tous les comptes, triage de chaque compte par année, par mois et je devais indiquer quels étaient les mois qui manquaient sur chaque relevé de compte afin que la collègue qui s’occupe de tous les dossiers financiers puisse appeler la banque pour qu’elle nous communique ce qui manque : 2014-2015-2016-2017 et 2018.
A cela, s’ajoutent des fiches de renseignements (intervenants, formateurs, animateurs) à remplir pour les contrats d’entente de collaboration pour les séminaires, table ronde, caravane, formation, rencontre thématique 2015-2016-2017, les fiches de renseignements à remplir pour les contrats de consultant(e)s pour les séminaires, table ronde, caravane, formation, rencontre thématique de 2016-2017.
J’ai participé un après midi avec 2 collègues d’ALCI à une formation pour des marocaines et j’ai rencontré d’autres personnes intéressantes lors de cette formation.

My mission of international civic service allowed me to discover Morocco and these wonderful traditions. Indeed, I am in the Residence COS ONE Fez, Small studio with (Small kitchen, bathroom, 2 bed and a terrace) and outside we do not have a sports ground, swimming pool (wifi at the reception and on the ledge the pool).
There is also a small grocery store just behind the residence and a mini market 600 m from the house. The staff of the residence are very nice, it’s friendly and the residence is well secured there is a guard from morning to evening and another at night and cameras at the entrance of the residence.
Paul my second international civic service, is one floor above me at the residence.
During our stay, I visited several places and tourist sites to know: Rabat beach, the medina of Rabat, the garden Jnan Sbil of Fes, Royal Palace of Fes, Batha Museum of crafts in Fes .
I really enjoyed the Moroccan cuisine although I still have some preferences among the foods that I had to taste like the Moroccan special sandwich, Tacos, the real Moroccan couscous, homemade pancakes, salad, home-made dish bring on the spot , Moroccan special spring rolls, Tajine, typical Moroccan pastry (Chebakia, Makroud, Sellou cakes stuffed with date paste, etc.) the real mint tea.
I prefer Tajines, Couscous, Salads and Tacos and patisserie Makroud at the moment.
For the moment I had to visit my second Paul for a weekend. It was good.
As for recreation, so far we have not yet found a gym, pancake party, chat, listening to music from time to time with Paul in the week.
In addition, I shared French recipes with the team of the association and I brought them homemade pancakes that we shared together. And I also shared some pancakes with some employee of the residence.
I also ate a homemade Moroccan couscous with a colleague at noon.
Today I downloaded an application to learn Moroccan (learn Darija) and also (I took an orange package with 10 H, SMS, unlimited MMS and a new number all for only 200 dirham what n ‘ I have not expensive at all).
Let’s go back to my mission proper. The mission is varied in the sense that I am currently on Administrative records, finance file with a colleague, moving to training locations taking pictures of the training for ALCI.
In the first days, I started, by doing all the correction of the documents that are in French of ALCI, the others I could not do them because they were in Arabic.
We made a trip to Fes at HOTEL RAMADA to take pictures of the training organized by ALCI for Moroccans in Arabic all day long.
I also participated in the correction, verification and modification of letters made by the president of the association before sending them.
The activities carried out with the team are focused on the financial files (bank reconciliation of all the accounts, sorting of each account by year, month the statements of account are by quarter, and I had to indicate what were the months that were missing on each statement For the colleague who handles all the finance files can call the bank to communicate what is missing) 2014-2015-2016-2017 and 2018.
Added to this are the fact sheets: (speakers, trainers, animators) to complete the collaboration agreement contracts for the seminars, round table, caravan, training, thematic meeting 2015-2016-2017, Fact Sheets: (speakers, trainers, facilitators) to fill the consultant contracts for the seminars, round table, caravan, training, thematic meeting of 2016-2017.
I participated a whole afternoon with 2 ALCI colleagues who had organized a training for Moroccan women and met other interesting people during this training.
