Curieuse et enthousiaste, j&rsquo;ai peur aussi de beaucoup de choses dans cette nouvelle partie de ma vie. Je pensais me connaitre, il n&rsquo;en ai rien ! L&rsquo;aventure commence.\u00a0\ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n<p>Je demeure dans une chambre \u00e0 la<a href=\"https:\/\/communaute-odd.org\/index.php\/les-structures-daccueil\/\"> R\u00e9sidence des Jeunes Actifs de Chartres<\/a> qui est l&rsquo;organisation o\u00f9 je travaille. Chartres, c&rsquo;est une charmante ville o\u00f9 r\u00e9side pr\u00e8s de 40 000 habitants. J&rsquo;adore son coeur historique qui attire des touristes \u00e9trangers tous les jours.<\/p>\n<p>J&rsquo;aime ma chambre. C&rsquo;est d\u00e9j\u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me \u2013 oui, j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 v\u00e9cu mon premier d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement. Ma nouvelle chambre est grande en comparaison avec les autres de l&rsquo;immeuble et pour cause, elle a sa propre salle de bain ! L\u00b4h\u00e9bergement est vraiment confortable. Bien s\u00fbr, \u00e7a pourrait \u00eatre mieux (de temps en temps le chauffage ne marche pas\u2026) mais je me satisfait de ce que j&rsquo;ai.<\/p>\n<p>Au travail, je collabore souvent avec les r\u00e9sidents, mais il faut que j&rsquo;am\u00e9liore mon fran\u00e7ais si je souhaite en d\u00e9couvrir davantage et ne pas travailler qu&rsquo;avec mon ordinateur !<\/p>\n<p>J&rsquo;adore voyager. Je suis d\u00e9j\u00e0 all\u00e9e \u00e0 Blois, Paris, Dreux ou encore Orl\u00e9ans.<\/p>\n<h3>Voici mes premi\u00e8res impressions :<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Les Fran\u00e7ais ne parlent\u00a0vraiment pas anglais (bien s\u00fbr il y a des exceptions !)<\/li>\n<li>Si vous vous sentez capable de leur parler, ils sont en majorit\u00e9 gentils et vous accueillent avec un c\u0153ur ouvert !<\/li>\n<li>L&rsquo;\u00e9cologie et l&rsquo;administration en R\u00e9publique Tch\u00e8que n&rsquo;est pas si mal tout compte fait !<\/li>\n<li>Les Fran\u00e7ais ne portent pas de b\u00e9rets et ne se d\u00e9p\u00eachent pas quand ils mangent&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Ils pensent que je viens de Tch\u00e9quoslovaquie (divis\u00e9 en deux pays en 1993).<\/li>\n<li>Le jambon et le fromage fran\u00e7ais sont d\u00e9licieux, le vin et le jus d&rsquo;orange sont app\u00e9tissants.<\/li>\n<li>Les Tch\u00e8ques connaissent au minimum la base du Premier secours (en R\u00e9publique Tch\u00e8que, c&rsquo;est une partie obligatoire du permis de conduire) en comparaison avec les Fran\u00e7ais.<\/li>\n<li>Les Fran\u00e7ais s\u2019habillent cool \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Des \u00e9tudiants tch\u00e8ques savent plus de la g\u00e9ographie que des \u00e9tudiants fran\u00e7ais (et si !)<\/li>\n<li>Quelquefois il est moins cher d\u00b4acheter 5 kilos d\u00b4oignon que 5 pi\u00e8ces d\u00b4oignon (0.95 et 1.65\u20ac dans un m\u00eame supermarch\u00e9 =D)<\/li>\n<li>Les trains et des bus en France sont trop chers.<\/li>\n<li>Il est facile de voter dans un pays \u00e9tranger (il m&rsquo;a fallu seulement un papier pour voter \u00e0 Paris pour les \u00e9lections tch\u00e8ques parlementaires)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Mes objectifs :<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Am\u00e9liorer mes aptitudes en fran\u00e7ais et en anglais<\/li>\n<li>Devenir plus ouverte aux autres et aux autres cultures<\/li>\n<li>\u00catre utile (\u00e9videmment !)<\/li>\n<li>En apprendre plus sur le syst\u00e8me social fran\u00e7ais<\/li>\n<li>Faire des nouvelles rencontres ici<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Je m&rsquo;enrichie chaque jour entre mes p\u00e9rip\u00e9ties pour tenter d&rsquo;acheter un v\u00e9lo (que je n&rsquo;ai pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 faire), les rencontres de ma nouvelle copine fran\u00e7aise et ma rencontre avec Soeur Claire du clo\u00eetre local.<br \/>\nLa semaine prochaine je suis invit\u00e9 \u00e0 participer la rencontre des \u00ab Jeunes professionnels de Chartres \u00bb (groupe des chr\u00e9tiens jeunes). J&rsquo;attends cette rencontre avec impatience car c&rsquo;est le moment de faire de nouvelles rencontres et de partager une soir\u00e9e conviviale avec eux.<br \/>\nCes moments me persuadent que, malgr\u00e9 le fait d&rsquo;\u00eatre seule volontaire internationale dans notre organisation (et probablement aussi \u00e0 Chartres), je ne suis pas seule. Me in France for 8 months. I\u00b4m so curious, excited and afraid of many things in this new part of my life. I am living in hope and faith, because there is not much more you can do in the country where almost nobody speaks English and everything is new. I had thought I quite knew myself. That was not true. The adventure is beginning! \ud83d\ude09<br \/>\nI stay in one room in Foyer Jeunes Travailleurs in the organization where I also work in Chartres. One hundred kilometres southwestwards from Paris. It is nice medium-sized city (about 40 thousand people) with attractive historical centre everyday full of foreign tourists. There are people, but not so many. I like it.<br \/>\nI love my room. It is the second one \u2013 yes, I\u00b4ve already experienced my first moving. This room is big in comparison with other rooms in this building and has its own small bathroom. The accommodation is comfortable. Of course, everything could be better (the heating sometimes doesn\u00b4t work,\u2026) but I must be satisfied with what I have. It is also one of the things I want to learn here.<br \/>\nAt work I usually work on my computer. I am really looking forward to doing something with our residents, after I start my courses of French and will be able to talk to them more. It will be easier than talking to my computer.<br \/>\nI love travelling. I have already been to Blois, Paris, Dreux et Orl\u00e9ans.<br \/>\nWhat I have got to know:<br \/>\n&#8211; French really don\u00b4t speak English (of course there are some exceptions)<br \/>\n&#8211; when you can speak with them, they are usually very kind and welcome you with open heart<br \/>\n&#8211; ecology and administration in the Czech Republic is not on so bad level<br \/>\n&#8211; French don\u00b4t wear berets and don\u00b4t hurry with their lunch<br \/>\n&#8211; they think I live in Czechoslovakia (split in two countries in 1993)<br \/>\n&#8211; French ham and cheese are delicious, wine and orange juice are very tasty<br \/>\n&#8211; Czech people know at least the basis of the First Aid (it is an obligatory part of driving licence) when I compare it with France<br \/>\n&#8211; French style of clothing is cool<br \/>\n&#8211; Czech students are better educated in geography than French students<br \/>\n&#8211; sometimes it\u00b4s cheaper to buy 5 kilos of onion than 5 pieces of onion (0.95 and 1.65\u20ac in the same market =D)<br \/>\n&#8211; trains and buses in France are very expensive<br \/>\n&#8211; it is easy to vote in foreign country (I needed only one paper to vote in Paris in Czech parliamentary elections)<br \/>\nMy targets:<br \/>\n&#8211; improve my language skills in French and English<br \/>\n&#8211; become more open to other people and cultures<br \/>\n&#8211; be useful<br \/>\n&#8211; learn something about French social system<br \/>\n&#8211; loosen my tights to the Czech Republic, my loved people there and meet new people here<br \/>\nI wanted to buy some bicycle, but I haven\u2019t succeeded yet. My new French friend Noemi lent me a guitar and invited me and Geoffrey (her friend) to lunch. It was very kind. Sr. Claire from local cloister invited me in, we talked together in French-English. She was nice.<br \/>\nNext week I am invited to be part of the meeting of \u201cJeunes professionnels de Chartres\u201d (Christian youth group).
