Après un accueil chaleureux, j’ai passé un mois riche en réunions de préparation, rencontres et activités variées, où j’ai pu découvrir la culture Orléanaise, mais aussi la vie associative à travers les centres sociaux et les collectifs de la Métropole, beaucoup plus développée qu’au Maroc.
Le festival des solidarités est un événement national.
Au niveau local, un collectif Orléanais a été créé en 2014 ; celui-ci réunit des associations, œuvrant dans le domaine de la solidarité, qui souhaitent sensibiliser la population autour de thèmes différents chaque année.
J’ai découvert tout le processus pour organiser le festival des solidarités (démarches administratives, stratégie de communication, gestion budgétaire…) qui est une expérience très importante dans un large collectif (collectifs Orléanais).
La première animation a eu lieu le vendredi 17 novembre à la médiathèque de Saint Jean de la Ruelle avec une soirée-débat autour du film « Cousins comme cochons ».
Le lendemain matin, nous avions rendez-vous au marché quai du Roi pour une déambulation musicale avec le « grand orchestre de la casserole », et une dégustation gratuite de produits locaux.
Après deux semaines d’ateliers, d’animations de rue et de débats sur le thème « ENSEMBLE, GOÛTONS UN MONDE MEILLEUR», une grande soirée de clôture a eu lieu le vendredi 1er décembre. Au cours de cette soirée, les invités ont participé à des moments de musique, de jeux… Ils ont aussi préparé et dégusté la soupe de légumes bio offerts par le supermarché coopératif, une très bonne alternative pour les citoyen(ne)s de la métropole Orléanaise. Des tables rondes ont été organisées avec les associations qui ont partagé leurs expériences sur le thème de la solidarité alimentaire aux niveaux local et international et avec les témoignages de jeunes en Service Civique et Service Civique International.
After a warm welcome, I spent a rich month in meetings of preparation, and various activities, where I could discover the Orleans culture, but also the associative life through the social centers and collectives of the towns around, many more developed than in Morocco.
The festival of solidarity is a national event.
At the local level, the Orléans collective was created in 2014; it brings together associations, working in the field of solidarity, which wish to raise the awareness of the population around different themes each year.
I discovered the whole process to organize the festival of solidarities (administrative procedures, communication strategy, budget management …) which is a very important experience in a large collective (Collectif Orleanais).
The first animation took place on Friday 17 November at the media library of Saint Jean de la Ruelle with a debate on the film « Cousins comme cochons ».
The next morning, we had an appointment at the Quai du Roi market for a musical stroll with « the big orchestra of the pan », and a free tasting of local products.
After two weeks of workshops, street entertainment and debates on the theme « TOGETHER, TASTE A BETTER WORLD », a big closing party was held on Friday, December 1st. During this evening, the guests participated in moments of music, games; they also prepared and tasted the soup of organic vegetables offered by the supermarket cooperative, a very good alternative for the citizens of Orleans metropolis. Round tables were organized with the associations who shared their experiences on the theme of food solidarity at the local and international level with and testimonies of young French and foreign volunteers.
